Paint Your Own Modern Barn Quilt: Geometric Stars for Fall
Paint Your Own Modern Barn Quilt: Geometric Stars for Fall
Tuesday, October 29th
From 6 to 8:30 pm
At the Life and Whim Studio
Join us for an inspiring evening of creativity as we explore the beautiful tradition of barn quilts through modern design! In this workshop, you’ll learn how to design and paint your own geometric star pattern on a wooden canvas, inspired by the timeless appeal of barn quilts. These large, quilt-like designs adorn the front of barns and are also beautiful on the front porch or used in home decor.
Taught by local artist Heather Harrington, this class focuses on blending the charm of rustic folk art with bold, crisp lines for a sleek and modern aesthetic. Your barn quilt will be perfect to adorn your front porch or inside your home. Whether you prefer a traditional fall palette or something more contemporary, your project will be fully customizable to match your style.
This workshop is open to all levels, whether you're a seasoned artist or a beginner. Heather will help you to create a beautiful piece even if it’s your first time holding a paintbrush!
